I did a short brainstorm for a maybe-to-be novel of mine! : D
And I'm actually thinking what I came up with would be pretty good! >w<

But as far as fan fiction writing...

I absolutely loathe and detest this one thing that's very popular right now at the fanfiction sites I post at...
What is that you may ask?

One-shot collection book things.

It's basically where the writer puts together a story thing, and every chapter is a one-shot [short stories for those of you not fanfiction savvy or whatever..].
They are EVERYWHERE at fos-ff.net and fictionzone.org and likely over at Lunaescence.com too [I don't visit there too often these days..].
I can't go to one page without seeing a story with a long ass list of series and books and movies and all that in the category thinger.
And what's worse?
A majority of them don't even have any one-shots up, AT ALL!
It's just one big page filled with a list of characters and all that and voting crap.

Why do these people put together they booklets!? I mean, sure, maybe if there's like...a theme, it's all good.
You know, like a one-shot book for lemons with characters from this one series, or cutsie themed one-shots or something.

But noooo...
With most of the one-shot collections I've seen, it's just a random pile of one-shots that the writer managed to pull out of their ass one way or another.

I'm just tired of getting my hopes up for finding a bunch of one-shots in one big thing and there being nothing there.

It's some serious business, yo.

But really...I think these people don't want to post their random one-shots separately because they're lazy bastards that don't want to write some crappy summary for each of them!

Not that hard really.
I myself, usually take small pieces from the one-shot itself, put it in italics [if the site allows basic HTML coding in summaries], put up the pairing and all that, and voila!
I have a summary!

But whatever.

Another thing that bothers me somewhat..

My favorite fanfiction site was taken under new management some weeks or whatever ago, and the new site owner is also the owner of another fanfiction site that I used to be a big fan of until all this dumbshit drama sprouted out of the site's ass and I left (whole other story I'd rather not go through with telling) and yeah...
Got to deal with the same stupid fucking stuff for both sites.

Not that I don't respect the owner and mods of the sites...
But with how they act and whatnot, it tends to get on my nerves and rather bland and overly repeated. :/
Maybe I'm just a bitch like that, but whatever. I rather liked barely knowing the site owner of fos-ff.net.

Seriously, for something-something posts straight, the mods/owners bitched about the same fucking thing in the news/updates area.

It got old real quick.

They might as well have written in big ugly bold letters, "DON'T OVERLY SPACE OUT YOUR SUMMARIES" right at the top of the page.
That's how annoying it go, for me anyways.

Whatever, I barely contribute to the fanfiction community these days anyways. My opinion DOES NOT matter. xD
Just the gambles you take when you join a smaller internet community in comparison to the cold and straight to the point big boss sites like fanfiction.net [that site confuses the shit out of me these days..].

Well, today was a fun day.

After I had woken up I got onto my computer and onto the Internet [after getting pissed because GCI must hate me..] I got on Gaia and talked to people and then got on MSN.
Jen had something about how she loved Joe so I asked her why.
Apparently he was going to buy her Subway and give her money for gas, so yeah.
So I realized that I was hungry...
So I told her to tell Joe to get me food too. xD
So then Jen decided to invite me to go with them and all, so I say alright and she gets offline and she and Joe go walking to Morgan's and then come to my house with Joe's possessed alien dog, Gizmo. xP

So then we walk back to Joe's to drop his dogs off then we head over to the middle school, hang out for a bit, walk to the theater to see what they have out playing, decide to possibly go see Hostel 2 tomorrow at the threater downtown, walk back to Jen's house to get her van [which we baked in for a few minutes..] and then we were off on a grand adventure...to Adair's house! =D

So as we drive to Adair's house, we keep seeing a lot of little boys, and so us, being "pedophiles" start screaming...
Then at one point I think Morgan or me yelled, "You're not a little boy!" at this one guy we passed by that looked like a gangster...

Afterwards, we get to Adair's house, pick Adair up, and drive away!
We see the gangster again. I make a weird face at him. And then uh...crap...what else...
Right!
So we go to the store so Joe can get his check from work...drive off to the bank, Joe says the wrong directions, we get pissed, Jen drives to the right place...Joe gets his check...and then we go off to the gas station.
After we get the gas we drive out and it seems as if the two cars on either side of the gas station are trying to keep us from leaving! Jen is able to squeeze through the truck and all...and we leave!

Then we drove downtown so Joe can get something at some electronics store...we go to the Wharf or whatever so Joe and Adair can get food.
At one point while Jen and I were sitting there waiting for them to finish eating we see this old man walking over to the window and Jen and I start to get all paranoid...apparently the old man was trying to talk to the guy that was making the food or whatever through the open window...
The Morgan, me and Jen go to waste some time at some other store in the Wharf place, we see pretty unicorns, fairies, dragons, and Kama Sutra [do I capitalize that...whatever] cards and some other stuff. I can't stop hiccuping either and so Jen finds it hilarious every time I hiccup.

Then we walk back to where Adair and Joe are, they finished their food, so then we walk back to Jen van and we're off to Subway to waste more of Joe's money!

So yeah, we get to Subway, I start to get all freaked out because I've never ordered anything at Subway. But yeah, I do manage to get what I want on my sandwich and when the guy at the register asks if we want a meal or something, Jen says she just wants a soda, and the guy mocks her...
It was really funny though because he sounded girly. xD
I think Jen got a little pissed with him though.

So yeah, we sit down [at the dirty table..] and eat our food.
Adair and Morgan arrive a little while later because earlier they left to go to the pet shop [I think Joe went with them..] and they ran into Devon at one point and yeah.
After that, we leave and drive off to Fred Meyers so Joe can do some shopping [we all try and get him to buy us stuff] and yeah...
It was really funny at one point, because while Morgan and Jen were doing other things, I told Joe to get the Barbie computer game [he refused.. -emo tear-] and then later Jen told him to get the same Barbie game, only for the PS2. xD
He refused yet again... -emo tear-

And so we hang out for a while, Joe gets what he gets and we leave.

Jen drops us all off and yeah, we go about our business for an hour or so.

While I was at home, my mom and Yvonne left to go driving for a while, and then dad got home, tries calling mom a few times, gets all pissy and makes himself a sandwich and stomps off to his room. Mom comes home, I tell her that dad's pissed, after a while she gets pissed, but thankfully by that time, Jen has arrived and I can leave the drama! =D

So yeah, Jen and I go pick Adair up and we go to Sweet Dreams and sit with Morgan and get on our laptops and listen to people sing to kareoke. :B
Also, on Gaia, Jen changed her mule's name to Cal Worthington and is in the process of making a cosplay of him. xD It's so cool...
She also made one of those annoying begger posts that everyone spams the Chatterbox with...so awesome...

So yeah, we get baked in Sweet Dreams since they have like...no air conditioning, on Gaia I get onto Towns and have some fun with the other people that are part of the guild I joined, win some gold, then go about my business.

After a while, we get sick of Sweet Dreams, get like, $3 from James so we can get donuts. We go to Fred Meyers since they have cheap donuts, but they have none! Dx We go to Breeze In and their donuts are too much. Then we yell at James from across the street to get him to give us more money. He doesn't. He tells us to go to Super Bear to get donuts since they're cheap too.
So we go on our merry way there and they have no donuts either! Dx
So then we start cracking jokes about how James is a liar and how girls shouldn't trust him because he says he has sweet things and he'll give them to you, but in reality all there are are empty, plastic, containers [XD!].

We drive back to Sweet Dreams, see James, yell at him about him being a liar, give him his money back, and we drop Morgan off there and then Jen drives us back home.

Oh right!
So when we were at Fred Meyers to get donuts, we first looked for Jen's mom since she works there, and so we see her and start to sneak up to her...and it was so awesome. xD
She looked like, right at us, but didn't seem to notice us at all. We probably looked like freaks since it seemed as if we were playing Red Light Green Light with some invisible person because every time Jen's mom looked in our direction we would freeze on the spot. xD It was awesome. So yeah...we talked to her after a while and yeah...

Then let's see...after I got home, I got mom to drive me out to McDs so I can get dinner since I skipped it and then we came home and here I am telling all of today's wonderful moments!

So yeah...that's about it!

Oh! And Jen's dad is apparently gonna be out of town for a few days, so we're having a little party at Jen's house and Joe's paying for the food. x]
Knowing how I can be when with Jen, me and her will be the ones that'll stay up all night.
Then Morgan will say she feels sick, go home, and yeah...that's what usually happens. xD
We're just that fun.
Oh...we're probably gonna go see Hostel 2 for Jen's little partay...that'll be fun...assuming the movie doesn't suck too badly. xD

Especially when they don't update shit because my connection decided that it doesn't want to work with me!!!!

And what do I find?

One of those fucking annoying messages that all browsers do because they can't connect or whatever!

And what's even better is that BitComet won't let me download this one song so I have to wait for my friend to get online so she can email me the song because MSN won't let me receive anything that's a "huge" file.

Is the Internet world against me or what?!
